We just stayed home this year, because we had lots going on.
Kyle went up to girls camp on Monday and we returned Thursday night for Bishop's night. By the time he returned on Tuesday, we just didnt' have time to travel.
To make everything we did exciting, we blindfolded the kids everywhere we went.
I just wish I would have remember to take the camera everywhere we went.
We took them to see BRAVE and out to eat at RED ROBIN.
We went to RIOT ZONE and golfed.
We enjoyed frozen yogurt at KIWI LOCO.
Then we went SWIMMING in Rexburg at their new swimming joint.
It was a great week, and I'm grateful for the time we had to spend together. They seemed to love their blindfolds. Even Brooklyn wore hers a few times.
We laughed a lot and there were a few tears, and we did spend an entire morning cleaning house one day, but overall it was a good time. I can't believe how big they're getting.
This is the last photo I took with my camera. *sniff sniff* |
We even splurged on a quarter per kid at Kiwi Loco, and let them shoot those gum balls into that silly basketball hoop. That's how we were celebrating our Vacation Time.
But, that was the end of the D40. You can read about it HERE.
Borrowing my neighbor Matt's camera, we got these shots. A big thank you to Matt Egbert for lending us his expensive camera, to capture at least a few photos of our swimming trip!

We went with friends- The Reeves, and I tell you, it's like having cousins. That family is as close to family as it gets. No, really. I don't think you get it. We're tight like crazy these days.
Anyway, that was the end of the vacation.
We have a few days left until school starts, and somehow we managed to go to Rigby Lake about 7 times, and I never took my camera. Oh boy. Now that I don't have one, I'm even more depressed that I didn't use it while I had it.
Here's to the last week of summer. May the Odds Be Ever in Our Favor! (Oh yeah, I re-read all three books this last few weeks and don't ask me about it. You'll hate me, if you don't already I promise. Kyle is reading them too, for his first time. He is liking them!)
