Improving

It took two weeks!!

*holy cow*

Wednesday (Oct 2nd) was the first day in 2 weeks that I put on a pair of jeans and did something with my hair. I managed to get out the door by 10 a.m. so that I could report to my doctors office. A quick urine analysis showed that I am definitely improving.

So that's good.

Because E.Coil sucks.

From there, my neighbor and good friend Kasey met me at Sams Club. I followed her around like an overgrown toddler and pointed at items for her to purchase. If only toddlers paid the bill the way I did. And thankfully the items that I pointed at went beyond Dora and Crayola.

Well except for maybe the Nutella.

She then followed me in to Winco where we repeated the process. She pull things off the shelves and loaded them into the grocery cart, all while pushing and pulling everything around. And, she managed ALL the children while I continue to just to point and grunt.

When I got home from the grocery store, Kyle was here to help unload the groceries. But my grandma and my mom also arrived! Between the three of them they had everything unloaded and put away in under an hour. The kids got home just in time to have a snack before those were put away.

We spent the rest of the afternoon just visiting. Its always fun when Betty comes to visit.

Janelle also came to take care of me this last weekend. Her help was invaluable. I was starting to finally feel better, but I think that my body was trying to make up for lost time. I slept and slept. We also had the Youth in our home for a fireside that night. She did all the cleaning before she left, and the young women's president took care of treats for me this time. Life savers.

Janelle also baked up a bunch of cupcakes, strawberry colada, and we devoured them. It was fun to have Barb & Dale stop in on their way to Utah as well.

The missionaries stopped by to mow the lawn for us, and Landon has a soccer game tonight.
So, here we go, into week 3 of recovery.
