On Friday, we drove to Rupert, Idaho to pick up a 10 week old Border Collie pup and have been welcoming her into the family since. She is the runt of 9! And she's teeny tiny, but has plenty spunk to make up for it, for us, anyway.

We decided on the name Pepper and set to work to help her feel comfortable and get acclimated to her new our. Our home.
Thus, the potty training begins.
And the commands begin.
The silliness begins.
The puppy paw prints all over my laminate floors have already started.
The chewing is going to be a thing to work through.
The curiosity she expresses over everything has us laughing and makes photography her nearly impossible. (Plus, she nearly crawled into the dish washer.)
The floppiness of her body and when she's tired after playing! Good gravy, it's delightful.
All of the puppy craziness begins.
So far, I've learned that white stripe is technically called a 'blaze' and that her ears will get stronger after she teeths--they may prick up, stay the same, or do something in between--and that she LOVES to attack the broom and mop. She's becoming my little shadow.
